The Network Secretariat and Governing Board bring together a broad range of talents, backgrounds, and experience to guide and govern the work of Pollinate Impact in accordance with our shared mission, vision, and values.

These individuals play an active role in anchoring the network’s development and growth, providing strategic direction, and ensuring clarity around the Network’s intent, focus, scope, and initiatives.

Working Groups

Contribute ground-level information to design tailored programmes relevant to local contexts, regions, and sectors.

Duration: 8-10 weeks

Member Involvement: Short bursts of light-lift engagement to help surface local intelligence, and make network programmes more relevant and resonant.

The Secretariat is responsible for co-creating and implementing the programmes.

What this might look like: 

Pollinate Potluck planning committees to steward the agenda and logistical planning, recommend speakers and venues, and support outreach to potential participants.

Learning Circles

Deepen practice-based learning and peer exchange around shared operational challenges or sector-specific themes, with a focus on sustained dialogue, trust-building, and real-time application.

What this might look like:  

  • A sub-group of participants from the Growth Guidance Programme who meet as a group to discuss, debate, and share their learnings and progress, such as fundraising, diversifying revenue streams, and team recruitment.
  • A sub-group of members from the peer mentoring programme meets as a group to reflect on what they’ve learned, how they’re implementing it in their day-to-day life, both at a personal and at an organisational level.

Collective Action Teams (CAT)

Co-design, test, refine, and scale initiatives to advance the Network’s agreed-upon priorities, or to mobilise small, agile teams of members to co-create and advance pilot solutions around shared priorities, with a clear path from insight to implementation.

Member Involvement: TBA

CATs are member-led and member-driven, with member-only participation.  Include 3-12 Network participants who are passionate about the specific initiative or challenge the team is working on.  Involves regular team meetings, at least monthly, or as decided by the Co-Chair/s.

Big Challenge Teams

Co-design, test, refine, and scale initiatives to advance the Network’s agreed-upon priorities.

Duration: 6-12 months

Member Involvement: TBA

Big Challenge Teams​

These may be structured with multiple nested CATs to achieve the objectives of the Big Challenge Initiative.  Often have contributions and participation from both Members and Partners, with 3-12 Network participants who have a passion for the specific initiative or challenge that the team is working on. Involves regular team meetings, at least monthly, or as decided by the Co-Chair/s.
